Sterling Lumber Announces 2012 Employee of the Year – Martin Cortes
Sterling Lumber’s management proudly presents Martin Cortes with the first ever Sterling “Employee of the Year Award’. The winner was selected by a number of managers; the award was designed and built by Mr. John Sterling. Martin Cortes has continually demonstrated his willingness to do anything and everything to make the company a success and keep things running in the yard. Martin is either fixing something or finding someone to get it done and his work is usually not supervised because he has shown the ability to always take things on by himself. On every task or issue, he is always looking to help the company save or make more money. Martin attributes his devotion to duty and diligent work habits to his grandfather, who always preached to him to do his very best at all times. A $500 dollar award was presented to Martin at the Christmas Party. Congratulations to Martin from the entire Sterling team and keep up the great work!
