Access mats are created from 22 Dense Hardwood surface boards that are 2”x 8” cut to exactly 168” and 18 Dense Hardwood center boards that are 2”x 8” cut to exactly 96” and then secured by 162- 3/8” zinc-coated carriage bolts.
Each access mat is 6”x 96”x 168”, trimmed to a perfect square and then outfitted with 3 Interlocking Boards for a perfect fit every time.
Our NEW Hybrid Mat is a more effective solution for your matting needs. We use a combination of carriage bolts and screw shank nails to give our customers options for their jobs.

Husky Energy
British Petroleum teamed up with Husky Energy to excavate in excess of 10.6 billion barrels of bitumen in 2008. BP’s first ever oil sands project in the Canadian Oil Sands of Fort McMurray was an intensive job requiring 2,900 rig mats and over 600 access mats.
