Cooper Sterling VP of Purchasing and Operations
Cooper directly purchases the materials that are processed and sold through the lumberyard. He handles all lumberyard operations to ensure that each order is delivered as promised, when promised. Cooper’s constant contact with the Sawmill ensures smooth delivery of high-quality products to all of Sterling’s customers.

John Sterling CEO
John took over the business from his father shortly after getting his degree from Michigan State University. He built his client list through word-of-mouth and a reputation for quality and dependability. John is pleased to see that his integrity is being carried on by his four sons. He continues to work at the lumberyard and consult with his sons on the direction of the company.

James McKenney Sawmill Manager
James is responsible for the ongoing daily operations of Sterling Lumber’s logging crews and multiple sawmills. He receives a large amount of assistance from his wife, Stacy, and their two children, Dalton and Brooklynn.
